Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. Aspen returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and won via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the second. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. The winner also got an extra bonus for her performance that night. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision as well as the Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. In a last-minute substitute to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
